Where the Adobe Meets the Sky

Where the Adobe Meets the Sky, The Santa Fe Collection

Part 1 with Part 2 of the collecting coming by July

This series of paintings are born from the streets, plaza, and light of Santa Fe, New Mexico — a city that exists at the crossroads of ancient Pueblo civilization, Spanish colonial history, and contemporary creative life. These works feel the city not document it. Warm adobe walls absorbing centuries of sun, its turquoise skies pressing down on the rooftops and portals, its narrow street holding the echo of every culture that has called it home. The brushstrokes move in the same spirit the city itself moves with a confidence of place and knowing where it is.
